Geschwisterliebe
"Geschwisterliebe" (''Sibling love'') is a controversial song by German rock band Die Ärzte from the album '' Die Ärzte''. It deals with incest and was added to the German List of Media Harmful to Young People in 1987 and is still in the index. The song follows an incident between a boy and his 14-year-old sister, where they are left alone by the parents and then engage in intercourse; it is also implied that this will be repeated from another position. Farin Urlaub, who wrote this song, thanks his younger half-sister ironically in the booklet of the album, "for her super sibling love". According to Urlaub, he wrote the song at age 15, in 1979. The song however, was not released until 1986, on the self-titled album ''Die Ärzte''. The song had been a part of their concert setlists for a long time and since "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund", a song about zoophilia, released on '' Debil'', made it without being put on the index, it was decided that "Geschwisterliebe" would ...

Ab 18
''Ab 18'' ver 18is the sixth album by German rock band Die Ärzte. It is an EP compilation of which three songs were put in the German List of Media Harmful to Young People. The album was banned in Germany on 10 December that same year. The banned songs were, at the time, "Geschwisterliebe", "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" and "Schlaflied". As of 2022, only "Geschwisterliebe" is still banned and Streaming Services like Spotify offer the album to German Users in a censored version that omits that song. Background ''Ab 18'' includes, among other things, the songs "Geschwisterliebe" and "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" which were indexed at the time of the release of the album and "Schlaflied". Another previously released song on the record was "Sweet Sweet Gwendoline", which already appeared on ''Die Ärzte'' and was not indexed. However, it was controversial because of the glorification of sadomasochism. New songs include "Sie kratzt, sie stinkt sie klebt" and "Claudia II", the seq ...

Die Ärzte
Die Ärzte (; ) is a German rock band from Berlin. The band has released 14 studio albums. The group consists of guitarist Farin Urlaub, drummer Bela B and bass player Rodrigo González. All three write and perform their songs. History Early years Die Ärzte were formed in West Berlin in 1982 by Jan Vetter (alias Farin Urlaub, a pun on the expression "Fahr' in Urlaub", meaning "Go on vacation"), Dirk Felsenheimer (alias Bela B, referring to Dracula actor Bela Lugosi) and bassist Hans Runge, alias . Bela and Farin had previously played together in the punk band Soilent Grün, established in 1979 and named after the film ''Soylent Green''. After Soilent Grün broke up in 1982, Bela and Farin decided to form another band. In the first two years (including Sahnie) they mostly played in clubs in their hometown, Berlin. Their first release was a contribution to the sampler ''20 schäumende Stimmungshits'' (rough translation: "20 foamy party hits"), featuring a strong alcohol th ...

Live – Nach Uns Die Sintflut
''Live – Nach uns die Sintflut'' ("Devil may care"; "Après moi, le déluge") is the eighth album by German rock band Die Ärzte. It is their first live album, released on triple vinyl and double CD, just before the band disbanded. The band risked with this album being ' indexed' (banned) because of a third sequel of Claudia (''Debil'' - "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" ndexed '' Ab 18'' - "Claudia II") and the bonus single featuring the indexed "Geschwisterliebe", sung entirely by fans while the band played. The album featured many songs written especially to be played live, such as "Madonnas Dickdarm", "Claudia", "Ich bin wild" and "Uns geht's prima". "Madonnas Dickdarm" and "Claudia" (as "Claudia III", shortened) were later released on ''Das Beste von kurz nach früher bis jetze'', along with " Blumen" and " Elke". The first "Sprüche" is on this album. "Sprüche II" is found on ''Wir wollen nur deine Seele'', the only other 2-CD live album by Die Ärzte. "Sprüche III" ...

Gehn Wie Ein Ägypter
"Walk Like an Egyptian" is a song recorded by the American band the Bangles. It was released in 1986 as the third single from the album ''Different Light''. It was the band's first number one single, being certified gold by the RIAA, and became ''Billboard'''s number-one song of 1987. Composition Liam Sternberg said he was inspired to create the song while on a ferry crossing the English Channel. When the vessel hit choppy water, passengers stepped carefully and moved their arms awkwardly while struggling to maintain their balance, and that reminded Sternberg of the depiction of human figures in ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. He wrote the words "Walk like an Egyptian" in a notebook. Later, Sternberg looked back in the notebook, and composing the melody with a guitar, he put together an up-tempo song with lyrics about Egyptian hieroglyphs, the Nile River, crocodiles, desert sand, bazaars and hookah pipes and then segued into modern scenes of blond waitresses, school kids and p ...

Devil (Die Ärzte Album)
''Debil'' (meaning "Moronic") is the first full-length studio album by German rock band Die Ärzte, released in 1984, following the EPs ''Zu schön, um wahr zu sein!'' and '' Uns geht's prima...''. The songs "Paul" and "Zu spät" were released as singles, without being successful initially. However, a live version of "Zu spät" was released as a single from the live album ''Nach uns die Sintflut'' in 1989 and became a moderate hit in Germany. In 1987, the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons put the songs "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" and "Schlaflied" on the List of Media Harmful to Young People, with the effect that they could not be sold to minors, nor publicly advertised or displayed. This ban was lifted in 2004, which led to the subsequent reissue of the album ( see below). Track listing ''Devil'' Following a re-evaluation of the record by the BPjM, ''Debil'' was reissued on 21 October 2005 as ''Devil'' with slightly altered cover art and additio ...

German Shepherd
The German Shepherd or Alsatian is a German breed of working dog of medium to large size. The breed was developed by Max von Stephanitz using various traditional German herding dogs from 1899. It was originally bred as a herding dog, for herding sheep. It has since been used in many other types of work, including disability assistance, search-and-rescue, police work, and warfare. It is commonly kept as a companion dog, and according to the Fédération Cynologique Internationale had the second-highest number of annual registrations in 2013. History During the 1890s, attempts were being made to standardise dog breeds. Dogs were being bred to preserve traits that assisted in their job of herding sheep and protecting their flocks from predators. In Germany this was practised within local communities, where shepherds selected and bred dogs. It was recognised that the breed had the necessary skills for herding sheep, such as intelligence, speed, strength and keen senses o ...

Sexual Intercourse
Sexual intercourse (or coitus or copulation) is a sexual activity typically involving the insertion and thrusting of the penis into the vagina for sexual pleasure or reproduction.Sexual intercourse most commonly means penile–vaginal penetration for sexual pleasure or sexual reproduction; dictionary sources state that it especially means this, and scholarly sources over the years agree. See, for example; * * * * * * * * * This is also known as vaginal intercourse or vaginal sex. Other forms of penetrative sexual intercourse include anal sex (penetration of the anus by the penis), oral sex (penetration of the mouth by the penis or oral penetration of the female genitalia), fingering (sexual penetration by the fingers) and penetration by use of a dildo (especially a strap-on dildo). These activities involve physical intimacy between two or more individuals and are usually used among humans solely for physical or emotional pleasure and can contribute to human bonding. Ther ...
