Gerald Brown (American Football)
Gerald Brown is an American football coach who was the Atlanta Falcons running backs coach from 2008 to 2014, and currently works as an analyst for the University of Tennessee. During his time with the Falcons, he coached two Pro Bowl selections, Michael Turner and Ovie Mughelli. While on staff with the Falcons, the team won NFC South Championships in 2010 and 2012, and achieved five straight winning seasons, with playoff appearances in four of seven seasons. Brown has logged 22 years in coaching, including six seasons at Indiana University. In his first five seasons at Indiana, Hoosier running backs averaged 1,549 rushing yards per season. In his first year, Indiana gained 1,398 yards despite not having a running back with more than 90 career carries entering the 2002 season. In 2003, Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis became the seventh true freshman in Indiana history to rush for 100 yards in a game and just the third freshman to reach the 200-yard plateau in a single-game. Gerald Brown (basketball)
Gerald Brown Jr. (born July 28, 1975) is a retired American basketball player. He was a member of the Harlem Globetrotters. Basketball career Brown attended Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He played college basketball at Pepperdine University from 1993 to 1998 and was a three-time All-West Coast Conference first team performer. He left Pepperdine ranking 12th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,467 points. After going undrafted in the 1998 NBA Draft, Brown was signed as a free agent by the Phoenix Suns on January 25, 1999. In 33 games with the Suns, he averaged 2.4 points per game. In the following years, Brown spent few seasons in Europe, playing for Hapoel Jerusalem, Partizan, Alba Berlin, Breogán and Fuenlabrada. Jerald Brown (born December 3, 1980) is a Canadian football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Glenville State College.
