State Route 219 (SR 219) is a state highway that runs south-to-north through portions of Muscogee, Harris, Troup, and Heard counties in the west-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It runs from Columbus north to a point southwest of Franklin. Route description SR 219 begins at an intersection with US 27/ SR 1 (Veterans Parkway) in Columbus in Muscogee County. It heads north-northwest to SR 85 (Manchester Expressway). Then, it curves to the northwest to an intersection with US 80/ SR 22 (J.R. Allen Parkway). The highway heads through the rural northwestern part of the county and enters Harris County. A short distance after entering Harris County is an intersection with SR 315 in Piney Grove. Georgia State Route 103
State Route 103 (SR 103) is a state highway in the west-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The highway travels from a point northwest of Mulberry Grove northwest to West Point. The highway used to travel through Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Marion counties, but was truncated through Fort Benning. Its former path was redesignated as parts of SR 137 Spur, SR 357 and SR 219. Route description SR 103 begins at an intersection with SR 219 northwest of Mulberry Grove, in Harris County. Past this intersection, the roadway continues as SR 116. Pine Mountain is a town in Harris and Meriwether counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 1,304, up from 1,141 at the 2000 census. Phenix City is a city in Lee and Russell counties in the U.S. state of Alabama, and the county seat of Russell County. As of the 2020 Census, the population of the city was 38,817. Fall Line Freeway
The Fall Line Freeway (FLF; also signed as State Route 540 (SR 540)) is a highway designed to span the width of the U.S. state of Georgia from Columbus at the Alabama state line to Augusta, travelling through several cities including Macon, Fort Valley, Sandersville, and Wrens. Though it is called a freeway, it is composed of both limited-access and high-speed divided highway portions. There are also two segments of the highway that are two lanes, separated by a center turn lane: a brief portion in west-central Washington County (west of Sandersville) and another brief portion in northern Jefferson County (completely within the city limits of Wrens). State Route 34 (SR 34) is a state highway that travels west-to-east through portions of Heard and Coweta counties in the west-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The highway connects the Alabama state line southwest of Franklin with the Peachtree City area, via Franklin and Newnan. State Route 14 (SR 14) is a state highway that travels southwest-to-northeast through portions of Troup, Coweta, and Fulton counties in the west-central and north-central parts of the U.S. state of Georgia. Georgia State Route 109
State Route 109 (SR 109) is a state highway that runs west-to-east through portions of Troup, Meriwether, Pike, and Lamar counties in the western part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The route travels from the Alabama state line to at SR 18 near Barnesville. Traffic data shows it serves as the primary east-west route of both middle Troup County and Meriwether County. It is considered a medium priority route by the Georgia DOT for its entire length, except between the cities of Lagrange and Greenville, where it is considered a critical priority route. Concurrency (road)
A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Other terminology for a concurrency includes overlap, coincidence, duplex (two concurrent routes), triplex (three concurrent routes), multiplex (any number of concurrent routes), dual routing or triple routing. Concurrent numbering can become very common in jurisdictions that allow it.
