Georgi Svilenski
Georgi Strahilov Svilenski ( bg, Георги Страхилов Свиленски; born 9 October 1970) is a Bulgarian engineer, politician and Member of the National Assembly (Bulgaria), National Assembly. He is a member of the Bulgarian Socialist Party representing 24-Sofia 2. He was elected to the 43rd Assembly in October 2014, and is a member of the Children, Youths and Sports Committee and Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Committee. He is also a member of the "Friendship alliance" groups with Azerbaijan, China, Montenegro, Russia and Vietnam. He graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia. He was previously a member of the Sofia Municipal Council. Personal life He was married for 13 years to Desislava Radeva, Desislava Gencheva, who is remarried to Bulgarian president Rumen Radev. He has one son with Gencheva. Veliko Tarnovo
Veliko Tarnovo ( bg, Велико Търново, Veliko Tărnovo, ; "Great Tarnovo") is a town in north central Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Veliko Tarnovo Province. Often referred as the "''City of the Tsars''", Veliko Tarnovo is located on the Yantra River and is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. The old part of the town is situated on three hills, Tsarevets, Trapezitsa, and Sveta Gora, rising amidst the meanders of the Yantra. On Tsarevets are the palaces of the Bulgarian emperors and the Patriarchate, the Patriarchal Cathedral, and also a number of administrative and residential edifices surrounded by thick walls. Desislava Radeva ( bg, Десислава Радева) is a Bulgarian public figure and the current First Lady of Bulgaria since January 2017, being the wife of President Rumen Radev. Early life and career Born Desislava Gencheva in Burgas on 9 July 1969, she studied at the Geo Milev English Language School for secondary school before going on to the University of National and World Economy in Finance and Credit. The National Assembly ( bg, Народно събрание, Narodno sabranie) is the unicameral parliament and legislative body of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly was established in 1879 with the Tarnovo Constitution. University Of Architecture, Civil Engineering And Geodesy
The University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was founded in 1942 as a Higher Technical School following a decree issued on June 6, 1941 by the Bulgarian Tsar Boris III. In 1945 it was transformed into a State Polytechnic. In 1953 the Polytechnic was divided into several institutes one of them being the Institute of Civil Engineering. Since 1977 the institute is renamed Higher Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (HIACE). In 1990 by a decision of its General Assembly the Institute was renamed University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), the official accreditation being voted by the Parliament on 21 July 1995. Rumen Georgiev Radev ( bg, Румен Георгиев Радев ; born 18 June 1963) is a Bulgarian politician and former major general who is the current president of Bulgaria since 22 January 2017. Radev previously served as higher commander of the Bulgarian Air Force. He won the 2016 presidential election, as an independent candidate supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party, defeating GERB candidate Tsetska Tsacheva in the second round.
