George Griffin (rugby League)
George Griffin (born ) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or forward for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League. He has previously played for Hull Kingston Rovers, the London Broncos, and the Salford Red Devils in the Super League. He has spent time at Gateshead Thunder in the Championship 1 on dual registration from Hull KR, and at the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League on loan from Salford. The 2021 Challenge Cup Final was the 120th final of rugby league's Challenge Cup knock-out competition. It took place on 17 July 2021 at Wembley Stadium between Castleford Tigers and St Helens. Daryl A. Powell (born 21 July 1965) is an English professional rugby league coach who is the head coach of the Warrington Wolves in the Super League. He is a former professional rugby league footballer who played as a in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Wakefield Trinity is a professional rugby league club in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, that plays in the Super League. One of the original twenty-two clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, between 1999 and 2016 the club was known as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. The 2019 Super League Grand Final was the 22nd official Grand Final and championship-deciding game of Super League XXIV. It was held at Old Trafford in Manchester on 12 October 2019. The final was contested by St. Helens and Salford Red Devils (who were appearing in their first ever grand final).
