George A. Romero Filmography
George A. Romero (1940–2017) was an American- Canadian film director, writer, editor and cinematographer. He contributed to many projects as either the writer, director, editor, cinematographer or a combination of the four. Romero's first project was the 1968 horror film '' Night of the Living Dead'', which he produced independently. Romero was also a contributing producer for the anthology television series '' Tales from the Darkside'', which aired from 1983 to 1988. George A Romero
George Andrew Romero (; February 4, 1940 – July 16, 2017) was an American-Canadian filmmaker, writer, editor and actor. His ''Night of the Living Dead'' series of films about an imagined zombie apocalypse began with the 1968 film of the same name, and is often considered a major contributor to the image of the zombie in modern culture. Other films in the series include '' Dawn of the Dead'' (1978) and '' Day of the Dead'' (1985). Aside from this series, his works include '' The Crazies'' (1973), ''Martin'' (1977), ''Knightriders'' (1981), ''Creepshow'' (1982), '' Monkey Shines'' (1988), '' The Dark Half'' (1993), and '' Bruiser'' (2000). Knightriders
''Knightriders'' is a 1981 American drama film written and directed by George A. Romero and starring Ed Harris, Gary Lahti, Tom Savini, Amy Ingersoll, Patricia Tallman, and Christine Forrest. It was filmed entirely on location in the Pittsburgh metro area, including Fawn Township and Natrona during the summer of 1980. The film represents a change of pace for Romero, known primarily for his horror films; it is a personal drama about a traveling renaissance fair troupe. Plot Billy leads a traveling troupe that jousts on motorcycles. "King William", as he styles himself, tries to lead the troupe according to his Arthurian ideals. ''Two Evil Eyes'' (Italian: ''Due occhi diabolici'') is a 1990 anthology horror film written and directed by George A. Romero and Dario Argento. An international co-production of Italy and the United States, ''Two Evil Eyes'' is split into two separate tales, both based largely on the works of Edgar Allan Poe: "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar", directed by Romero and starring Adrienne Barbeau; and " The Black Cat", directed by Argento and starring Harvey Keitel, which blends a number of Poe references into a new narrative. The Movie
"The Movie" is the 54th episode of the sitcom ''Seinfeld''. It is the 14th episode of the fourth season, and first aired on January 6, 1993 on NBC. ''The Crazies'' is a 2010 American horror film directed by Breck Eisner from a screenplay from Scott Kosar and Ray Wright. The film is a remake of the The Crazies (1973 film), 1973 film of the same name and stars Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Joe Anderson (actor), Joe Anderson and Danielle Panabaker. George A. Romero, who wrote and directed the original, served as an executive producer. It is about a fictional Iowa town that becomes afflicted by a biological agent that turns those infected into violent killers. The film was released on February 26 and grossed $55 million on a $20 million budget. The critical summary on Rotten Tomatoes calls it "tense, nicely shot, and uncommonly intelligent", and it received mixed reviews on Metacritic.
