Georg Uecker
Georg Uecker (born 6 November 1962 in Munich) is a German actor. Since 1985, he has played the character of ''Dr. Carsten Flöter'' on the popular German TV series Lindenstraße on ARD. Controversially, in 1987, he kissed ''Gert Weinbauer'' (played by actor Günter Barton). This was the first gay kiss in a German series in the evening. A second kiss was in 1990 with character ''Robert Engel'' (actor Martin Armknecht) this brought about discussions on LGBT topics in the media. Uecker still continues to play the character. His other television credits include ''Schillerstraße'' (an improvisational comedy show) and he is often a guest on ''Genial daneben'' (a quiz programme with comedians). He is an LGBT-activist and lives in Cologne. ''Familie Heinz Becker'' is a German television series that aired from 1992 through 2004. The show revolves around the lives of Heinz Becker and his family, as well as those of neighbors and onlookers, although the focus of the series changed over the course of the series. In the first season, much of the humor was derived from Heinz's petty behavior; the character of his wife, Hilde, was not played for laughs. During seasons 2–4, Hilde's character became more naive but was devoted; much of the humor came from family dialogues. After Season 4, the focus shifted more to public life. It was produced in 1995 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the German television series Lindenstraße, and stars many cast members of that show. Plot The ARD television series ''Lindenstraße'' is about to be cancelled after its ten-year run. Obsessive ''Lindenstraße'' fan and head computer programmer of the GEZ, Detlef Hase (portrayed by Herbert Feuerstein) is distraught. He enters the production studio of the show posing as a tourist, sneaks backstage, and kidnaps the actress Marie-Luise Marjan (playing herself) at gunpoint. The International Cinematographers Film Festival "Manaki Brothers" (known short as Manaki Film Festival) is an annual international film festival organized by the Macedonian Film Professionals Association (MFPA). The festival is held in Bitola, the town where most of the activities of the Aromanian brothers Yanaki and Milton Manaki were organized. They were the filmmakers, who in 1905 filmed in Avdela the first motion pictures in the Ottoman Balkans.
