Geoff Rodkey
Geoff Rodkey (born September 9, 1970) is an American screenwriter and author. His most recent novel is the suburban-apocalypse comedy ''Lights Out in Lincolnwood''. Previously, he co-wrote comedian Kevin Hart's 2021 debut middle grade novel ''Marcus Makes a Movie'' and the 2019 science fiction comedy ''We're Not From Here.'' In 2018, he collaborated with the Story Pirates arts education group on ''The Story Pirates Present: Stuck in the Stone Age,'' a novel bundled with a creative writing guide for middle graders. Prior to that, his four-book series ''The Tapper Twins'' began publication in 2015 with ''The Tapper Twins Go To War (With Each Other)''. His first novel was ''Deadweather and Sunrise'', the first book in '' The Chronicles of Egg'' comedy/ adventure series for middle grade readers. Freeport, Illinois
Freeport is the county seat and largest city of Stephenson County, Illinois, United States. The population was 23,973 at the 2020 census, and the mayor of Freeport is Jodi Miller, elected in 2017. Freeport is known for hosting the second Lincoln-Douglas debate of 1858, and as "Pretzel City, USA", due to a popular local German bakery known for its pretzels in the 1850s. Freeport High School's mascot is the Pretzel to honor its heritage. History The community was originally called Winneshiek. When it was incorporated, the new municipality took its name from the generosity of Tutty Baker, who was credited with running a "free port" on the Pecatonica River. Many television films have been produced for Disney Channel, an American family-oriented basic cable channel and former premium television channel since its launch on April 18, 1983. Until October 1997, films were released under the banner name of Disney Channel Premiere Films; since then, the films are currently released under the Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) banner.
