Gentle Bones
Joel Tan (born 23 March 1994), better known by his stage name Gentle Bones, is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. His self-titled debut EP, released in 2014, as well as the singles released from it have charted on iTunes and Spotify, making him one of Singapore's more popular acts. Career Tan started playing the guitar and writing tunes in 2010 at age 16, and has been uploading covers of others' songs onto YouTube since late 2011. Since the creation of his YouTube account, it has garnered more than 4000 subscriptions, as well as two thousand likes on his Facebook page. Explaining his moniker, "Gentle Bones", it came out as random words which when put together, becomes a paradox which evokes a sense of mystery. Since then, Tan has performed in various major music festivals in Singapore, including the Noise Festival in 2011, the Mosaic Music Festival in 2012 and the SEA Games launch in 2014. Daphne Khoo (born 22 January 1987) is a Singaporean singer. She was a contestant in the first season of Singapore Idol, finishing up in fourth place (third runner up) during ''Asian Songs'' week. She was also host of Idol-on-Demand, an online programme for ''Singapore Idol''. She was video-featured on Singapore youth TV station CTV. She was also one of the contestants in the television show ''The Dance Floor'' in the group Snaap! Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) is an independent secondary educational institution in Bukit Timah, Singapore. Formed by the merger of The Chinese High School (1919–2004) and Hwa Chong Junior College (1974–2005) in 2005, it provides secondary education for boys only from Years 1 to 4, and pre-university education for both boys and girls in Years 5 and 6. Benjamin Kheng
Benjamin Kheng (born 15 August 1990) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter, and former national swimmer. Kheng made his music debut with the Singaporean band The Sam Willows, which debuted in 2012. Early life and education Kheng was a former national youth swimmer, having trained since he was 6. He attended Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Singapore Sports School and has a diploma in Arts and Theatre Management from Republic Polytechnic. Tay Kewei (; born 18 August 1983) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. She has released songs in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Professional background In 2006, Tay Kewei joined local singing competition Project SuperStar, initially getting into the top 24, but having to withdraw eventually due to conflicting gig schedules. HubbaBubbas is a Singaporean post-acoustic trio, founded in June 2011, consisting of lead vocalist Stephanie Lim, guitarist/backing vocalist Ryan Chan and beatboxer/backing vocalist Mervyn Ye. They are one known for combining various genres of music, and having performed at various local and international events. History The trio met when they were studying at Temasek Secondary School. Lim, who initially held dual Canadian and Singaporean citizenship, studied at the University of British Columbia, before renouncing her Canadian citizenship to join the other two.
