Gemma Dryburgh
Gemma Dryburgh (born 11 June 1993) is a Scottish professional golfer. Amateur career Dryburgh played college golf at Tulane University. She competed in the 2014 Curtis Cup and the 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy. Professional career Dryburgh played on the LET Access Series in 2015, making the cut in three of four events. She played on the Symetra Tour in 2016 and 2017, making three cuts in five events in 2016 and six cuts in ten events in 2017. She played on the ALPG Tour for the 2016–17 season, notching her first professional victory at the Oatlands Ladies Pro Am. Dryburgh has played on the Ladies European Tour since 2016 with a best finish of T6 at the 2017 Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open. Dryburgh has played on the LPGA Tour since 2018. Her best finish is T-21 at the 2018 Cambia Portland Classic and the 2019 Pure Silk Championship. She made her major championship debut at the 2019 Women's PGA Championship. Toto Japan Classic
The Toto Japan Classic is an annual women's professional golf tournament in Japan, jointly sanctioned by the two richest women's professional tours: the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. It was an unofficial money event on the LPGA Tour from 1973 to 1975. It has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations, and is typically held in early November. From 2006 through 2015, the event has been played at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima, Mie. 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy
The 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 2–7 September at the Karuizawa 72 Golf East, on its Iriyama and Oshitate courses in Karuizawa, Japan. It was the 26th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. There were 50 team entries, each with two or three players. Each team played two rounds at the Iriyama Course and two rounds at the Oshitate Course. The leading teams played the fourth round at Iriyama. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Team Australia won their third title, with a 29-under-par score of 547, two strokes ahead of silver medalist team Canada. Defending champions, team South Korea, took the bronze medal on third place one more stroke back. Curtis Cup
The Curtis Cup is the best known team trophy for women amateur golfers, awarded in the biennial Curtis Cup Match. It is co-organised by the United States Golf Association and The R&A and is contested by teams representing the United States and "Great Britain and Ireland". The same two teams originally contested the Ryder Cup, but unlike that competition, the Curtis Cup has not widened the Great Britain and Ireland team to include all Europeans (nor has the analogous event for amateur men, the Walker Cup). European Ladies' Team Championship
The European Ladies' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1959. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format Currently, the championship is contested by up to 20 teams, each of 6 players. The format consists of two rounds of strokeplay, out of which the five lowest scores from each team's six players will count each day. The total addition of the five lowest scores will constitute the team's score and determine the teams qualified for the last three rounds of matchplay. The Women's World Golf Rankings, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Rolex Rankings, were introduced in February 2006.
