Geirmund Ihle
Geirmund Ihle (29 December 1934 – 4 June 2016) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland in 1969, and was re-elected on two occasions. Born in Haugesund, Ihle was a member of Haugesund city council from 1963 to 1975. He chaired the local party chapter from 1968 to 1969. Outside politics he mainly worked as a teacher, and was also a journalist in ''Rogalands Avis ''Rogalands Avis'' is a local newspaper published in Stavanger, Norway. Norwegian Labour Party

Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. A member of Stortinget is known in Norwegian as a ''stortingsrepresentant'', literally "Storting representative". Haugesund () is a municipality on the North Sea in Rogaland county, Norway. While the population is greater in the neighboring Karmøy municipality, the main commercial and economic centre of the Haugaland region in northern Rogaland and southern Vestland is in Haugesund.
