Geert Meijer
Geert Meijer (born 15 March 1951) is a Dutch association football, football manager and former professional player. Playing career Born in Sellingen, Meijer played as a Midfielder#Winger, left winger, and began his professional career in 1972 with FC Amsterdam. After moving to city rivals AFC Ajax, Ajax three years later, where he spent four seasons, Meijer spent a year in England with Bristol City F.C., Bristol City, making 15 appearances in the Football League First Division, First Division. Upon his return to the Netherlands, Meijer played for Sparta Rotterdam, FC Dordrecht, DS'79 and NAC Breda, before retiring in 1986. Coaching career While still a professional player, Meijer began his coaching career. He managed the amateur teams VV Strijen, DCV (football club), DCV and Hermes DVS. Sellingen
Sellingen (; Gronings: ''Zèlng'' ) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Westerwolde, and lies about northeast of Emmen. In 2021, statistical area "Sellingen", which also includes the surrounding countryside, had a population of 1,880, and the village of Sellingen had 1,045. Pim Verbeek
Peter Tim Dirk "Pim" Verbeek (12 March 1956 – 28 November 2019) was a Dutch football manager who last coached the Oman national football team. Playing career As a player, Verbeek was a defender or a midfielder and spent his entire career at Sparta Rotterdam. He played there for two stints: from 1974 to 1975 and from 1977 to 1980. Managerial career South Korea Verbeek was the assistant coach of the South Korean national team under Guus Hiddink at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and also under Dick Advocaat at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Adrianus Andreas "Adri" van Tiggelen (born 16 June 1957) is a retired Dutch footballer who played as a left back. His career in football was intimately connected to Sparta Rotterdam, in which he began as a professional footballer, going on to manage the side in several categories and capacities, but he also played with success in Belgium for Anderlecht. Van Tiggelen appeared nearly 60 times for the Netherlands, representing the nation at the 1990 World Cup and two European Championships, being a starter in the team that won Euro 1988. Gert Aandewiel (born 9 September 1969 in Leiden) is a Dutch football manager and former football player. Club career He played professional football for FC Volendam (1996-1997), Sparta Rotterdam (1997-1999) and FC Dordrecht (1999). Managerial career After winning two amateur championships and the Amateur Coach of the Year trophy with Quick Boys, Aandewiel became manager of Haarlem in 2005. On 8 February 2007, when working as a coach for HFC Haarlem, he was named as the new manager of Sparta Rotterdam to replace Wiljan Vloet at the end of the 2006-2007 season. Henk Wisman
Henk Wisman (born 19 May 1957) is a Dutch football manager. He who was the coach of the Armenia national football team for about a year. Club career Wisman was born in Amsterdam. He began his career at AFC Ajax, having played in their youth system. He gained international experience as a young player and as a member of the Dutch Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-21 teams. Wisman did secure a place in the first team of Ajax. John Metgod
Johannes Anthonius Bernardus Metgod (born 27 February 1958) is a Dutch former professional footballer who works as assistant manager of United Arab Emirates. Club career Playing as a centre-back, Metgod started his professional career in the 1970s playing for HFC Haarlem. After one season with Haarlem, he moved to play for AZ Alkmaar, spending six years at the club, including their UEFA Cup final defeat against English side Ipswich Town, during which he scored a goal in the 4–2 second leg win.
