Gay Apostolic Pentecostals are people who adhere to the beliefs of the Oneness Pentecostal churches and who identify as LGBT affirming. Oneness Pentecostalism
Oneness Pentecostalism (also known as Apostolic, Jesus' Name Pentecostalism, or the Jesus Only movement) is a nontrinitarian religious movement within the Protestant Christian family of churches known as Pentecostalism. It derives its distinctive name from its teaching on the Godhead, which is popularly referred to as the Oneness doctrine, a form of Modalistic Monarchianism. This doctrine states that there is one God, a singular divine spirit with no distinction of persons who manifests himself in many ways, including as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This stands in sharp contrast to the doctrine of three distinct and eternal persons posited by Trinitarian theology. Oneness believers solely baptize in the name of Jesus Christ as opposed to the Trinitarian formula of baptizing "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." North Central University (NCU) is a private Christian university associated with the Assemblies of God and located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Florissant () is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, within Greater St. Louis. It is a middle class, second-ring northern suburb of St. Louis. Urshan College, formerly known as Gateway College of Evangelism, is a Christian College in Wentzville, Missouri, near St. Louis. It is owned and operated by the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). In 2012, the college was acquired by Urshan Graduate School of Theology. The Society for Pentecostal Studies (SPS) is an American scholarly association of biblical scholars, theologians, and others who are members of Pentecostal churches or are involved in the Charismatic Renewal. Affirming Pentecostal Church International (APCI) is a Pentecostal denomination. It is currently the largest LGBT affirming Pentecostal organization in the World. History It was founded December 5, 2010 in Indianapolis, Indiana. APCI was founded to be a non-legalistic Apostolic Pentecostal organization with racial equanimity not found in other similar types of organizations. The Global Alliance of Affirming Apostolic Pentecostals (GAAAP) is an affirming, Oneness Pentecostal denomination, previously headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana and later Thonotosassa, Florida. GAAAP was organized in 2007 by Rev. Kevin Konkle then of Indianapolis, Indiana and Rev. Robert Morgan of Tampa, Florida. Rev. Morgan served as Founding Chairman and Rev. Konkle as Founding Vice-Chairman. GAAAP originally began as a ministerial fellowship, growing from only 2 founding ministers in the beginning of 2007 to 17 ministers by early 2008.
