Gat Decor
Gat Decor (or Gat Décor) were an English electronic music group popular with the 1992 song " Passion". The song is considered to be one of the best-known works of the early progressive house genre. The main contributors of the team are the British DJs and producers, Simon Slater, Laurence Nelson-Boudville and Simon Hanson. The name 'Gat Decor' was derived from an anagram of 'Tag Records', a record store based in Soho, London. Although Gat Decor does not have an extensive catalog (two proper singles and a handful of remixes), the act and "Passion" are widely considered influential to electronic dance music in the early 1990s; and Slater still continues to license "Passion". Hammersmith
Hammersmith is a district of West London, England, southwest of Charing Cross. It is the administrative centre of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London. It is bordered by Shepherd's Bush to the north, Kensington to the east, Chiswick to the west, and Fulham to the south, with which it forms part of the north bank of the River Thames. A remix (or reorchestration) is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing pieces of the item. Jean-Michel André Jarre (; born 24 August 1948) is a French composer, performer and record producer. He is a pioneer in the electronic, ambient and new-age genres, and is known for organising outdoor spectacles featuring his music, accompanied by vast laser displays, large projections and fireworks. Jarre was raised in Lyon by his mother and grandparents and trained on the piano. From an early age, he was introduced to a variety of art forms, including street performers, jazz musicians and the artist Pierre Soulages. But his musical style was perhaps most heavily influenced by Pierre Schaeffer, a pioneer of musique concrète at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales. "Love You Right" is the debut single of Australian electronic group Euphoria. The track reached number one on the ARIA Charts and would be the first of two number-one singles in Australia for the trio. The track was remixed by 2 Unlimited when it was released in the United Kingdom. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1992, the song earned Euphoria a nomination for Best New Talent, losing to '' Underground Lovers'' by Underground Lovers. Music video The song's video was launched by being shown at the start of episode 260 of soap opera '' E Street'' when character Wheels watches TV and is surprised to see his housemate Jo jo ( Kelley Abbey) in the video. Euphoria (Australian Band)
Euphoria were an Australian dance-pop trio formed in 1991. They were founded by producer and songwriter Andrew Klippel on keyboards and backing vocals with lead vocals and dancing by Holly Garnett and Keren Minshull. Euphoria had two number-one hits on the ARIA Singles Chart, "Love You Right" (November 1991) and " One in a Million" (April 1992). Their third single, " Do for You" (August 1992), peaked at No. 7. Their sole album, '' Total Euphoria'' (October 1992), reached No. 14 on the related ARIA Albums Chart. Model Jodhi Meares replaced Garnett after she left in 1992. The group disbanded in mid-1993. Soho is an area of the City of Westminster, part of the West End of London.
