Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Donar is one of the traditional first division clubs along with Den Bosch, as it entered the league years ago. The club won the national DBL championship seven times; in 1982, 2004, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Donar was runner-up in the seasons: 1998, 2006, 2011, 2015. There are also six Dutch Cups in the honor list of Donar; they won the cup in 2005, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022. Donar has the most fans in the Netherlands, with approximately 1,700 season ticket holders and sells the MartiniPlaza out on a regular basis in the playoffs. Matt Haryasz
Matt Haryasz (born March 20, 1984) is a former American professional basketball player. Standing at 2.10 m (6 ft 11 in), Haryasz usually played as a center (basketball), center. High school career Born in Page, Arizona, Haryasz played high school basketball for Page High School (Page, Arizona), Page High School, and averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks for the team. College career Haryasz played four years for the Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team. In his last year, he led Cardinal in scoring (16.2 per game) and rebounding (8.2 per game). Professional career In 2006, Haryasz played two pre-season games for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was released on October 19, 2006. Afterwards he turned professional by signing in the NBA D-League with the Arkansas RimRockers. In November 2009, Haryasz signed with GasTerra Flames in the Netherlands.
