Garrett Love (December 12, 1987) is an American Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 38th district from 2011 until 2017. He has been given ratings of 67%, 75% and 83% from the American Conservative Union. Love is a Montezuma farmer, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Washburn University and an MBA from Fort Hays State University. Elections Love defeated 12-term incumbent Melvin Neufeld in the Republican primary for the Kansas House of Representatives on August 3, 2010 by a 2,079-1,042 margin. Kansas's 38th Senate District
Kansas's 38th Senate district is one of 40 districts in the Kansas Senate. It has been represented by Republican Ron Ryckman Sr. since March 2021, following the death of incumbent Bud Estes on February 13, 2021. Geography District 38 is predominantly based in the two Western Kansas cities of Dodge City and Liberal, covering all of Clark, Ford, Gray, Meade, and Seward Counties and part of Hodgeman County. Other communities in the district include Cimarron, Meade, and Ashland. The district is located entirely within Kansas's 1st congressional district, and overlaps with the 115th, 117th, 119th, 124th, and 125th districts of the Kansas House of Representatives. Kansas Chamber of Commerce (KCC) is a statewide business and industrial coalition in the state of Kansas. History KCC was founded in 1924 by representatives of 40 local chambers of commerce, who met in Hutchinson, Kansas. The founders focused on improving the state's highways. Its initial name was the Kansas Association of Chambers of Commerce. In 1925, it was renamed the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.
