Gangnam Style (music Video)
The music video for "Gangnam Style" by South Korean rapper and singer Psy premiered on July 15, 2012 on the video-sharing website YouTube and was later made available to download digitally on October 19. It was directed by Cho Soo-hyun and was filmed in Seoul in July 2012 over the course of 48 hours. In the video, Psy "pokes fun at the style of Seoul's Gangnam District, a flashy district known for its affluence, high rents, high expectations and a focus on the high-status lifestyle". The video is currently the eleventh most-viewed video and the fifth most-liked video on YouTube, as well as the 19th most-disliked. On December 21, 2012, the music video set a record for the first video to surpass 1 billion views on the platform. It subsequently surpassed 2 billion and 3 billion views in June 2014 and November 2017, respectively. On March 7, 2021, the video surpassed 4 billion views. Songdo Central Park
Songdo Central Park is a public park in the Songdo district of Incheon, South Korea. The park is the centerpiece of Songdo IBD's green space plan, inspired by New York City's Central Park. Central Park is a public zone in the center of Korea's first international city, covering 101 acres (41 hectares); the park covers almost 10% of Songdo IBD’s total area. It serves to connect to various civic and cultural destinations by providing a seawater canal that refreshes itself every 24 hours. The park also displays sculpture and artwork such as the swooping neofuturistic metallic architecture of the Tri-Bowl. Shinhwa
Shinhwa () is a South Korean six-member boy band based in Seoul, composed of Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin, and Andy Lee. Launched by SM Entertainment on March 24, 1998, the group signed with Good Entertainment in 2004 before creating theiShinhwa Companyto manage their career as a band. The band struggled initially with their first album before finding commercial success with their sophomore album ''T.O.P.'' (April 1999). ''The Classic'' is the eleventh studio album of South Korean boy band Shinhwa, in commemoration of their 15th anniversary. It was released on 16 May 2013 by Shinhwa Company and distributed by CJ E&M Music. The group conducted an Asian concert tour, '' 2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic'' in support of the album, with the first show in Hong Kong on 8 June 2013. It was first released as a limited edition and followed by a regular ''Thanks Edition'' on 21 May. According to Gaon Chart, as of the end of December 2013, the album has sold a cumulative total of 78,727 copies, of both editions.
