Ganei Yehuda
Ganei Yehuda ( he, גני יהודה) was a moshav founded in 1950 in the Ono Valley (), adjacent to the cities of Yehud and Kiryat Ono. Ganei Yehuda was officially merged with Savyon in 2003. The moshav was named "Ganei Yehuda" after the biblical figure Judah whom was the fourth son of Jacob and Leah and the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Judah. Both Savyon and Ganei Yehuda are located on the land of the Palestinian village of Al-'Abbasiyya Al-'Abbasiyya ( ar, العبْاسِيّة), also known as al-Yahudiya ( ar, اليهودية), was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. Yoav Cohen ( he, יואב כהן; born 30 August 1999) is an Israeli windsurfer. In 2020 he won the RS:X European Championships, and In 2021 he represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished 4th in Men's RS:X. Biography His parents are Hananel and Isabel. Cohen was born in Ganei Yehuda, Israel, where until he was two years old his family lived in a trailer. He and his family then lived in kibbutz Kadima, and then in Caesarea, Israel. His sailing club is Sdot Yam Sailing Club. In 2013, at age 13, Cohen won the Techno 293 Under 15 World Championships in Sopot, Poland. Cohen was the 2017 youth world champion, after winning the 47th Youth Sailing World Championships in Sanya, China. The Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS) is the oldest independent nonprofit public service research institute in the Arab world. The 1948 (or First) Arab–Israeli War was the second and final stage of the 1948 Palestine war. Al-'Abbasiyya
Al-'Abbasiyya ( ar, العبْاسِيّة), also known as al-Yahudiya ( ar, اليهودية), was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was attacked under Operation Hametz during the 1948 Palestine War, and finally depopulated under Operation Dani. It was located 13 km east of Jaffa. Some of the remains of the village can be found today in the centre of the modern Israeli city of Yehud.
