''Galore: The Singles 1987–1997'' is the second singles compilation by The Cure. It contains singles from the years 1987–1997. The song "Wrong Number" is the only new song on the album. Release ''Galore'' was first released in the US on 28 October 1997 by record label Elektra. It was then released in the UK and Europe by Fiction on 3 November. It spans the singles from the second part of the Cure's career, beginning with their seventh album ''Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me'' and ending with their tenth album ''Wild Mood Swings''. The Cure introduced the album with two full-length shows in October 1997 at the American Legion Hall in Los Angeles and Irving Plaza in New York City. A single, "Wrong Number", was released in United States in November 1997. Reception ''Galore'' has been generally well received by critics. ''Galore'' is the debut studio album by Canadian electronic music band Dragonette, released on August 6, 2007 by Mercury Records. The album contains a mix of newly recorded tracks and reworked songs which had featured on their independently released ''Dragonette EP'', which was available through the band's website two years earlier. Release Anticipation for the album was increased early in 2007 when Popjustice published a "Greatest Hits of 2007" list including four of the album's tracks: "I Get Around", "True Believer", "Marvellous" and "Competition". While " I Get Around" and " Take It Like a Man" were both released as proper singles, music videos for "Competition" and "Jesus Doesn't Love Me" were filmed and released online. ''Galore'' is the third studio album by the British band The Primitives, first released in Europe in January 1992. It was not released in the UK until 13 April 1992. It was the final album recorded by the group in their first existence, as they disbanded shortly after this release. They would not record again until 2010, and would not release another album until 2012's '' Echoes and Rhymes''. ''Galore'' was reissued in an expanded double-CD edition by Cherry Red Records in January 2015. Reception In a retrospective review, Jake Kennedy of ''Record Collector'' said he would "love to pronounce it the overlooked gem" of the band's career "but, in truth, it's muddled by a mix of producers".
