Galle Guardians
Galle Guardians cricket team is one of the five provincial cricket teams which make up the Sri Lankan domestic cricket structure representing mainly Galle District of Southern Province, Sri Lanka, and with some nearby provinces. In previous occasions, the province was included in to Southern Express and Ruhuna Reds, where part of them was combined in this season as Galle Guardians. The cricket team's first participation came during the Twenty20 competition known as the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 2016 season which was known as Super T20 Provincial Tournament. The team plays their matches in Colombo R. Premadasa Stadium. Dinesh Chandimal is the captain of the side. Ajantha Mendis, Suraj Randiv, Dushmantha Chameera and Kithuruwan Vithanage are some of the other notable current Test cricketers and Limited overs cricketers in the national side. Dinesh Chandimal
Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal ( si, ලොකුගේ දිනේෂ් චන්දිමාල්; born 18 November 1989) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who captained the Sri Lanka national cricket team. A handy and agile right-handed batter who sometimes plays as the wicket-keeper middle order batter, Chandimal was the first captain to lead Sri Lanka in their first day-night Test match. Chandimal was a key member of 2012 ICC World Twenty20 runner-up team and 2014 ICC World Twenty20 winning team. He led Sri Lanka in first group stage of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, until was suspended for slow over rate and subsequently lost the place in the team for the remainder of the tournament. The captain of a cricket team, often referred to as the skipper, is the appointed leader, having several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of the other players. Lahiru Milantha (born 28 May 1994) is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for Ragama Cricket Club. In March 2018, he was the leading run-scorer in the 2017–18 Premier Limited Overs Tournament, with 448 runs from six matches. Leg Break
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A leg spinner bowls right-arm with a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery causes the ball to spin from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, that is away from the leg side, and this is where it gets the name leg break. Leg spinners bowl mostly leg breaks, varying them by adjusting the line and length, and amount of side spin versus topspin of the deliveries. Madurawelage Don Udara Supeksha Jayasundera (born 3 January 1991), more commonly known as Udara Jayasundera, is a Sri Lankan Test cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and an occasional legbreak bowler. He is a past student of Ananda College, Colombo. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right arm, right-handed spin bowling, spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball.
