Udara Jayasundera
Madurawelage Don Udara Supeksha Jayasundera (born 3 January 1991), more commonly known as Udara Jayasundera, is a Sri Lankan Test cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and an occasional legbreak bowler. He is a past student of Ananda College, Colombo. Career Jayasundera played for Sri Lanka Board President's XI in a tour match against West Indians in October 2015, top scoring with 142 runs. He made his Test debut on 10 December 2015 against New Zealand. He had a poor debut in the match, where he was only able to score a single run in the first innings and 3 runs in the second innings. Sri Lanka lost the match by 122 runs at the end. West Indian Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2015–16
The West Indies cricket team toured Sri Lanka in October/November 2015 to play two Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Starting with this series, all bilateral Test tours between the West Indies and Sri Lanka will be called the Sobers–Tissera Trophy. Sri Lanka won the Test series 2–0, the ODI series 3–0 with the T20I series was drawn 1–1. The whole series was rain affected and the play was interrupted on numerous occasions. 2021 Lanka Premier League
The 2021 Lanka Premier League also known as Wolf777 News LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the second edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It took place from 5 to 23 December 2021. There were plans to increase the number of teams from five to six, but Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed that five teams would take part, as per the first tournament. In June 2021, Charith Senanayake was appointed as the chairman of the LPL Technical Committee for the 2021 Lanka Premier League. In the same month, SLC agreed the termination of the Colombo Kings and the Dambulla Viiking teams due to financial issues. SLC also confirmed that two new franchise teams would replace them. Kandy Falcons, formerly known as Kandy Tuskers and Kandy Warriors, are a Sri Lankan franchise professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), representing the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka which was founded in 2020. Chris Gayle signed up as the marquee overseas player and Kusal Perera as the local icon Player. In October 2021, the team changed their name to Kandy Warriors after changing owners.
