Galen Tyrol
Galen Tyrol (commonly referred to as The Chief) is a character on the television series '' Battlestar Galactica''. Tyrol is responsible for the maintenance of the Vipers and Raptors aboard. Battlestar ''Galactica''. After the events of the miniseries, he was the ship's highest-ranking non-commissioned officer at rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. Galen Tyrol is played by Aaron Douglas, who originally auditioned for the role of Lee Adama before the role went to English actor, Jamie Bamber. Mario Savio
Mario Savio (December 8, 1942 – November 6, 1996) was an American activist and a key member of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement. He is most famous for his passionate speeches, especially the "Bodies Upon the Gears" address given at Sproul Hall, University of California, Berkeley on December 2, 1964. Savio remains historically relevant as an icon of the earliest phase of the 1960s counterculture movement. Early life Savio was born in New York City to a Sicilian-born Italian-American father who designed and manufactured restaurant equipment. Savio's mother was also of Italian ancestry (from Veneto), though born in the US, and worked as a retail salesperson. "A Disquiet Follows My Soul" is the twelfth episode in the fourth season of the reimagined '' Battlestar Galactica''. It aired on television in the United States and Canada on January 23, 2009, in Australia on January 31, 2009 and on Sky One in the UK on January 27, 2009. According to the director, this episode takes place immediately after the webisode series " The Face of the Enemy". The survivor count shown in the title sequence is 39,644. "Lay Down Your Burdens" is the two-part second-season finale of the reimagined ''Battlestar Galactica'' television series. Part 1 aired originally on the Sci Fi Channel on March 3, 2006; Part 2 aired on March 10, 2006, as a 90-minute special. The episode focuses on the discovery of a harsh but habitable planet and the election of Gaius Baltar as the new President of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, running on a platform of settling the survivors of Twelve Colonies on the planet, naming it New Caprica. Plot Part 1 Captain Starbuck is green-lit to lead a group of 20 Raptors back to Caprica to rescue the human resistance led by Samuel Anders. Brother Cavil
John Cavil (Number One) is a fictional character and the main antagonist from the re-imagined '' Battlestar Galactica'' television series. He is portrayed by Dean Stockwell. In the fourth-season episode " Six of One", Cavil's model number was revealed as Number One. Background John Cavil, aka Number One, is a humanoid Cylon model that appears as a highly rational, eccentric man in his late-sixties. The Cavils have a heavy sarcastic demeanor and a sense of humor. They take neither religion nor death seriously and are the only atheist Cylon model. Karl C. Agathon ( callsign "Helo") is a fictional character on the re-imagined '' Battlestar Galactica'' TV series, portrayed by Tahmoh Penikett. Appearances Background Agathon is an Electronic Countermeasures Officer, part of a two-person Colonial Raptor crew based on the Battlestar ''Galactica'', and is paired with Sharon "Boomer" Valerii before the Cylon destruction of the Twelve Colonies. Unlike other major characters such as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace or Gaius Baltar, the series reveals little about Agathon's life before the events of the series. Saul Tigh
Saul Tigh is a fictional character on '' Battlestar Galactica'' played by Michael Hogan. He is one of the main characters of the show. Biography Overview and personality Saul Tigh is a line officer assigned as executive officer on the Galactica. At the opening of the series, he believes himself to be a Colonial Viper pilot, the son of another military pilot and the grandson of a Presidential military advisor, and to be around 70 years old. Memorabilia in his quarters suggest that he flew with a squadron named "Vigilantes". It is revealed during season four of the show Tigh's early memories are artificial, implanted by Brother Cavil when he killed and temporarily boxed Saul and his fellow Final Five Cylons.
