World Rally (1993 Video Game)
''World Rally'' is a 1993 racing arcade video game developed by Zigurat Software and published by Gaelco in Spain, Sigma in Japan and Atari Games in North America. Themed around rallying, the game pit players with races across various locations under a short time limit to qualify for the next couse. ''World Rally'' was developed over the course of two years by most of the same team of previous works at Zigurat Software such as '' Carlos Sainz: World Rally Championship'', initially intended to be a racing game about the World Rally Championship featuring Spanish rally driver Carlos Sainz before he changed teams from Toyota to Lancia, prompting the staff drop Sainz' likeness from the project before launch. ''Smashing Drive'' is a racing video game developed and published by Gaelco and distributed by Namco. The game was released in arcades in 2000 and was ported to the GameCube and Xbox in 2002 by Point of View and for Game Boy Advance in 2004 by DSI Games and Namco. Gameplay The player races against time and another psychotic cab driver delivering passengers across New York City to earn money. The game is divided into four difficulties, each of which contains three different levels (with the exception of "Dusk and Wired", which only contains one). If the player manages to beat the rival cab in all three levels of a difficulty, they are taken to a bonus stage with the only available route being all of the Risky Routes. Biomechanical Toy is a scrolling run-and-gun shooter released as an arcade video game by Gaelco in 1995. Gameplay The player takes the role of Inguz who has to traverse toyland and shoot evil toys, collect power-ups, and defeat bosses to advance levels. Plot A criminal called Scrubby has escaped. Evercade
The Evercade is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by UK company Blaze Entertainment. It focuses on retrogaming with ROM cartridges that each contain a number of emulated games. Development began in 2018, and the console was released in May 2020, after a few delays. Upon its launch, the console offered 10 game cartridges with a combined total of 122 games. Arc System Works, Atari, G-Mode, Interplay Entertainment, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Piko Interactive have released emulated versions of their games for the Evercade.
