The 2005 Gael Linn Cup, the most important representative competition for elite level participants in the women's team field sport of camogie, was won by Munster GAA#Camogie, Munster, who defeated Connacht GAA#Camogie, Connacht in the final, played at Ballinteer St. Johns GAA, Ballinteer. Arrangements In the tournament at Ballinteer St. Johns GAA, St John's Ballinteer, Munster defeated Leinster 1–12 to 0–2. Connacht defeated Leinster by a point, 2–6 to 1–8. Rachel Moloney
Rachel Moloney born 1982 in Cork is a camogie player and a teacher, winner of five All Ireland camogie medals in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009 and three camogie All Star awards in 2005, 2008 and 2009. She holds two Ashbourne Cup medals with U.C.C. as well as Minor, Junior, Intermediate and Senior All-Ireland championship honours with Cork. Has won inter-provincial honours with Munster and is the side's free-taker and top scorer.
