Ga'ash
Ga'ash ( he, גַּעַשׁ, ''lit.'' Storm) is a kibbutz in central Israel. Located in the coastal plain to the north of Tel Aviv, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaSharon Regional Council. In it had a population of . Etymology The village was named after the Biblical mountain of Gaash, beside the grave of Joshuah in Ephraim (Joshuah 24:30). History Ga'ash is located on lands which used to belong to the depopulated Palestinian village of Khirbat al-Zababida. The kibbutz was established on 5 July 1951 by a group of immigrants from South America who were members of the Latin America "A Group" of Hashomer Hatzair. Khirbat Al-Zababida
Khirbat al-Zababida was a Palestinian people, Palestinian Arab village in the Tulkarm Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War on May 15, 1948. It was located southwest of Tulkarm, south of Wadi al-Faliq. Khirbat al-Zababida was mostly destroyed except for four deserted houses. History In 1870, Victor Guérin noted it as an old, rather ruined Hamlet (place), hamlet, named ''Kharbet el-Belakieh''. It was located on a small hill, and had a path leading to a harbour, where water melons were being shipped out. Hof HaSharon Regional Council
Hof HaSharon Regional Council ( he, מועצה אזורית חוף השרון, ''Mo'atza Azorit Hof HaSharon'', ''lit.'' Sharon Coast Regional Council), is a regional council in the Central and Tel Aviv districts of Israel. It is located on the coastline in the Sharon area between Netanya and Herzliya. The Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS) is the oldest independent nonprofit public service research institute in the Arab world. It was established and incorporated in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1963 and has since served as a model for other such institutes in the region. Kibbutzim
A kibbutz ( he, קִבּוּץ / , lit. "gathering, clustering"; plural: kibbutzim / ) is an intentional community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. The first kibbutz, established in 1909, was Degania. Today, farming has been partly supplanted by other economic branches, including industrial plants and high-tech enterprises. Kibbutzim began as utopian communities, a combination of socialism and Zionism. In recent decades, some kibbutzim have been privatized and changes have been made in the communal lifestyle. Bnei Zion
Bnei Zion ( he, בְּנֵי צִיּוֹן, , Sons of Zion) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain around four and a half kilometres north of Ra'anana, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaSharon Regional Council. In it had a population of . The 1948 (or First) Arab–Israeli War was the second and final stage of the 1948 Palestine war. Negba ( he, נֶגְבָּה) is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located in the northern Negev desert near the cities of Kiryat Malakhi and Ashkelon, it falls under the jurisdiction of Yoav Regional Council.
