GT's Kombucha
George Thomas Dave is an American businessman and founder and CEO of the kombucha company GT’s Living Foods. In the late 1990s, he was the first to put kombucha on store shelves, and his company currently owns 40% of the U.S. kombucha market. Early life and education GT Dave was born in 1977 to Laraine and Michael Dave as the youngest of three sons. In 1992, a family friend gifted them a SCOBY which she said had been given to her by a Buddhist nun. Dave's parents began homebrewing kombucha when Dave was a freshman at Beverly Hills High School. Dave's parents and his older brother Adam immediately took to the new drink, but he thought that it was weird, later recalling, "I thought, 'everyone thinks we're The Addams Family.'" Bone Tumor
A bone tumor is an abnormal growth of tissue in bone, traditionally classified as noncancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant). Cancerous bone tumors usually originate from a cancer in another part of the body such as from lung, breast, thyroid, kidney and prostate. There may be a lump, pain, or neurological signs from pressure. A bone tumor might present with a pathologic fracture. Other symptoms may include fatigue, fever, weight loss, anemia and nausea. Sometimes there are no symptoms and the tumour is found when investigating another problem. Diagnosis is generally by X-ray and other radiological tests such as CT scan, MRI, PET scan and bone scintigraphy.
