GMT Records
GMT Records is an imprint or sub-label of Aozora Records. Created in 2004, it focuses on the Japanese representation and promotion of English and Irish indie groups. The first band signings were The Future Kings of Spain and The Veils. As the distribution of these bands albums were handled under Aozora's contract with Toshiba-EMI, they were transferred to the new deal with Avex Marketing Communications taken out in 2005. Future Kings Of Spain
Future Kings of Spain were an Irish rock band formed in Dublin 2000 by Joey Wilson, Anton Hegarty and Bryan McMahon. The three had played together with ex-Spudgun guitarist Dave Layde in Mediumwave between 1996 and 1999. The band released two studio LPs ''Future Kings of Spain (2003)'' and ''Nervousystem (2007)'' and one EP ''Les Debemos (2004)''. In September 2009 after a period of inactivity, a number of music media outlets reported on the statement on the band's website announcing how the band had "brought things to a close", though not giving a reason for this apparent break-up. The Veils
The Veils are an English/New Zealand indie rock band fronted by singer and songwriter Finn Andrews. History Early years, ''The Runaway Found'' (2001–2004) Finn Andrews was born in London but spent his teenage years at high school in Auckland, New Zealand. Largely disinterested in school, Finn was also playing in many bands (one of which met and played regularly in a folk club on Mt Victoria in Devonport, Auckland) and writing the songs that would later comprise The Veils debut album '' The Runaway Found''. When he was 16, a set of demos he sent to record companies created a stir and led to invitations for him to return to London and make a record.
