Güçlükonak ( ku, Basan)' is a town and seat of the Güçlükonak District in Şırnak Province, Turkey. Güçlükonak District
Güçlükonak District is a district of the Şırnak Province of Turkey. In 2021, the district had a population of 11,915. The seat of the district is the town of Güçlükonak. Its area is 466 km2. The district was part of Siirt Province until it was attached to Şırnak Province in 1990. Şırnak Province
Şırnak Province ( tr, Şırnak ili, ku, Parêzgeha Åžirnexê) is a province of Turkey in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Şırnak Province was created in 1990, with areas that were formerly part of the Siirt and Mardin Provinces. It borders both Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Syria. The current Governor of the province is Ali Hamza Pehlivan. As of 2013, the province had an estimated population of 475,255 people. Considered part of Turkish Kurdistan, the province has a Kurdish majority.
