Bolu Province
Bolu Province ( tr, ) is a province situated in north-western Turkey. It is located between the capital, Ankara and the largest city in the country, Istanbul. It covers an area of 7,410 km2 and the population is 311,810. The capital city of the province is Bolu.. Geography The province is drained by the Bolu River (''Boli Su'') and the Koca River. Akshamsaddin
Akshamsaddin (Muhammad Shams al-Din bin Hamzah, tr, Akşemseddin) (1389, Damascus – 16 February 1459, Göynük, Bolu), was an influential Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Sunni Muslim Ulama, scholar, poet, and Sufism, mystic wali, saint. Biography He was the grandson of Shihab al-Din 'Umar al-Suhrawardi, Shahab al-Din al-Suhrawardi and a descendant of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq. He was an influential Lala (title), tutor and adviser to Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. After completing his work with his master Sheikh Hacı Bayram-ı Veli, he founded the Shamsiyya-Bayramiyya Sufi order. He discovered the lost grave of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (the sahabi, companion of Muhammad) in Constantinople preceding the Siege of Constantinople. In addition to his fame in religious sciences and Tasawwuf, Akshemsaddin was popular in the fields of medicine and pharmacology. Nallıhan
Nallıhan is a rural town and district of Ankara Province in the Central Anatolia Region, Turkey, Central Anatolia region of Turkey, 157km from the city of Ankara. According to the 2010 census, population of the district is 30,571 of which 12,457 live in the town of Nallıhan. The district covers an area of 1,978km², and the average elevation is 625 m. Mehmed II ( ota, محمد ثانى, translit=Meḥmed-i s̱ānī; tr, II. Ömer Kavur
Ömer Kavur (18 June 1944 – 12 May 2005) was a Turkish film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed fourteen films between 1974 and 2003. His film, '' Gece Yolculuğu'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival. Nine years later, his film '' Akrebin Yolculuğu'' was screened in the same section at the 1997 Festival. He died on 12 May 2005, of lymphoma at his home in Teşvikiye, Istanbul, and was buried at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery following the religious funeral service held at the Teşvikiye Mosque. Nationalist Movement Party
The Nationalist Movement Party (alternatively translated as Nationalist Action Party; tr, Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi, MHP) is a Turkish far-right and ultranationalist political party. The group is often described as neo-fascist, and has been linked to some violent paramilitaries and organized crime groups. The party is represented by 48 MPs in the Turkish Parliament which support the AKP government. Its leader is Devlet Bahçeli. The party was formed in 1969 by former Turkish Army colonel Alparslan Türkeş, who had become leader of the Republican Villagers Nation Party (CKMP) in 1965. The party mainly followed a Pan-Turkist and Turkish nationalist political agenda throughout the latter half of the 20th century. Devlet Bahçeli took over after Türkeş's death in 1997.
