Gérard Pettipas
Gérard Pettipas, C.Ss.R. (born September 6, 1950) is a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He is a member of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists). He currently serves as archbishop of the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan. Biography Pettipas was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. At the age of 26, he was ordained a priest on May 7, 1977, by Bishop Thomas Benjamin Fulton, who at the time was the Titular Bishop of Cursola. The Most Reverend
The Most Reverend is a style applied to certain religious figures, primarily within the historic denominations of Christianity, but occasionally in some more modern traditions also. It is a variant of the more common style "The Reverend". Anglican In the Anglican Communion, the style is applied to archbishops (including those who, for historical reasons, bear an alternative title, such as presiding bishop), rather than the style "The Right Reverend" which is used by other bishops. "The Most Reverend" is used by both primates (the senior archbishop of each independent national or regional church) and metropolitan archbishops (as metropolitan of an ecclesiastical province within a national or regional church). Luigi Ventura (born 9 December 1944) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See, ending his career as Apostolic Nuncio to France from 2009 to 2019. He became a nuncio and archbishop in 1995 and served in several African countries, Chile, and Canada before being posted to Paris. Beginning in January 2019 he was under investigation by French authorities for sexual crimes. In July 2019, the Vatican lifted his diplomatic immunity to allow him to face criminal charges.
