Dagâța is a Commune in Romania, commune in Iași County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Bălușești, Boatca, Buzdug, Dagâța, Mănăstirea, Piscu Rusului, Poienile, Tarnița, and Zece Prăjini. The commune is located in the southwestern extremity of the county, on the border with Neamț County, Neamț and Vaslui County, Vaslui counties. It lies of the banks of the river Gârboveta. Dagâța borders the following communes: Stănița, Stănița, Neamț to the north; Tansa, Iași to the east; Băcești, Băcești, Vaslui to the south; and Poienari, Poienari, Neamț to the west. The commune is crossed by Roads in Romania, county roads DJ280 and DJ246.
