Gymnastics At The 2023 Pan American Games
Gymnastics competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, are scheduled to take place between October 21 and November 4, 2023, at the Training Center for Collective Sport in the National Stadium Cluster. A total of 26 events (10 for men and 16 women) are scheduled to be contested. This is further broken down into 14 events in artistic (eight men and six women), eight in rhythmic (all for women) and four in trampoline (two per gender). Synchronized trampoline will be contested for the first time ever. Qualification A total of up to 201 gymnasts are allowed to compete (122 in artistic, 53 in rhythmic and 26 in trampoline). A nation may enter a maximum of 21 athletes across all disciplines (five in each gender for artistic, five athletes in rhythmic group, two in individual and two in each trampoline event). The 2021 Junior Pan American Games (Spanish: ''Juegos Panamericanos Junior 2021'') was an international multi-sports event for athletes aged 17 to 22 in the Americas, organized by Panam Sports held in Cali and Valle, Colombia between November 25 to December 5, 2021. Candidate cities The deadline for the presentation of candidacy to organize the first Junior Pan American Games was January 31, 2019, on which date Cali, Santa Ana, and Monterrey were selected as host city candidates by Panam Sports. Gymnastics At The 2024 Summer Olympics
Gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will be contested in three categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. The artistic (27 July to 5 August) and trampoline (2 August) events will occur at the Bercy Arena, with the rhythmic events staging at Porte de La Chapelle Arena from 8 to 10 August. Qualification The qualification pathway for the 2024 Summer Olympics is significantly simplified and modified from those in 2020. In the artistic team event, a maximum of five gymnasts will be eligible to participate as opposed to the four per team and two individuals who competed in Tokyo 2020. Three teams who finish on the podium qualify for the Olympics through the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool with a large proportion of quota places distributed at the same meet in Antwerp, Belgium by the following year.
