The gymnastics competition at the 2013 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held from 16 to 19 July 2013 in Utrecht, Netherlands. At most three boys born 1996/1997 and girls born 1998/1999 or later from each country participated. Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, dedication and endurance. Tyesha Mattis (born 17 April 1999 in Hackney, London) is a British artistic gymnast currently representing Jamaica in international competition. She trains at Hendon gymnastics club Junior career 2012 Mattis' first big elite meet was at the British Gymnastics Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. She became the Espoir National Champion. She also won the bars final with 12.800. 2013 Mattis competed for Great Britain at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney earlier in January. Amy Tinkler (born 27 October 1999) is a retired British Artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast. She is the Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's floor, 2016 Olympic floor exercise bronze medallist and the 2015 British all-around champion.
