Gymnastics At The 2005 Southeast Asian Games
Gymnastics at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games was divided into three sub-categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and aerobics. The artistic gymnastics was held from November 29 to December 1, the rhythmic gymnastics from December 2 to December 3, and the aerobics from December 4 to December 5. All events were held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, in Malate, Manila, Philippines. Rizal Memorial Sports Complex
The Rizal Memorial Sports Complex (RMSC; formerly known as Rizal Memorial Field) is a national sports complex of the Philippines, located on Pablo Ocampo St. (formerly Vito Cruz St.), Malate, Manila. It is named in honor of the country's national hero, José Rizal (1861–1896). The complex is currently managed by the Philippine Sports Commission, while the property is owned by the Manila City government. The complex also houses the administrative office of the PSC, and quarters for the Philippine national athletes. Phan Thị Hà Thanh
Phan Thị Hà Thanh (born 16 October 1991) is a retired Vietnamese artistic gymnast from Haiphong and a two-time Olympian (2012 and 2016). She is currently the most decorated and successful gymnast from Vietnam on the international stage. She became the first gymnast to win a world medal for Vietnam, capturing the bronze on vault at the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Gymnastics career 2009–2012 Phan made her international debut at the 2009 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in London. She competed in the qualifications round but did not score high enough to make any finals. On 16 November 2010, she competed at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou and finished fifth on the vault. Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, dedication and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. Roypim Ngampeerapong
Roypim Ngampeerapong (born 18 January 1989) is a gymnast, member of the Aerobic Gymnastics National Thailand team. Coached by Desislava Bogusheva (BUL). She is known as the only Thai Gymnast in the history, awarded by the International Gymnastics Federation FIG as a "World Class Gymnast". Being a multiple World Cup medalist, she participated in five consecutive Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships during the period 2006 - 2014. Ngampeerapong won two gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games in 2007. Nattawut Pimpa (born 1986) is a Thai gymnast who is a member of the Aerobic Gymnastics National Thailand team, coached by Desislava Bogusheva (BUL).
