Gyda Christensen
Gyda Martha Kristine Christensen (née Andersen; 21 May 1872 – 20 August 1964) was a Norwegian actress, dancer, choreographer and managing director. Biography Christensen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She was the only child of Ole Andersen and Cathrine Saabye. She received music and singing lessons during adolescence. She was part of the ensemble at Christiania Theatre from 1894 to 1899 and again from 1920 to 1928, and at Nationaltheatret from 1899 to 1919. She played a number of major roles, most often in the light genre. She was engaged as dance and artistic director at Det Nye Teater from 1928 to 1945. From 1936 to 1939 she was the artistic director at Nationaltheatret. In 1909 she became the managing director for the Nationaltheatret ballet school. Gyda Christensen TM
Gyda ( no, Gydafeltet) is an offshore oil field located in the southern Norwegian section of North Sea along with Ula, Tambar and Tambar East fields making up the UGT area, usually attributed to DONG Energy's main areas of exploration and production activity. Repsol took over the operatorship on behalf of the licence in 2015 upon the acquisition of Talisman Energy's Norwegian assets. Oil production ceased in 2020 and the field was decommissioned in 2021. The Gyda field was discovered in 1980 and started producing on June 21, 1990. The field contains confirmed 39.6 million m3 of oil and 6.6 billion cubic meter of natural gas. Ownership Originally developed by BP, in 2003 it sold its interests (61%) in the Gyda Oil Field to the Canada-based Talisman Energy for $90 million. Talisman operated the field until it was inherited by Repsol in 2015 as part of the acquisition of Talisman and assumed the operatorship on behalf of the licence. Halfdan Christensen
Halfdan Christensen (12 December 1873 – 17 September 1950) was a Norwegian stage actor and theatre director. Biography Christensen was born at Porsgrunn in Telemark, Norway. His family moved to Kristiania (now Oslo) where he attended Aars og Voss skole and later attended Kristiania Handelsgymnasium. In 1894, he conducted a study trip to Denmark and Germany. He had his stage début at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen during 1896. He was among the leading actors at the National Theatre from its opening in 1899. In 1907, Christensen began to act as stage director. He was theatre director from 1911 to 1923, and again from 1930 to 1933. During the Second World War he had to flee to Sweden, and there he led the theatre '' Fri norsk scene'' together with his wife Gerda Ring. Lillebil Ibsen (née Sofie Parelius Monrad Krohn) (6 August 1899 – 12 August 1989) was a Norwegian dancer and actress. Personal life Lillebil was born in Kristiania, as the daughter of engineer Georg Monrad Krohn and actress Gyda Martha Kristine Andersen (later Gyda Christensen). She married pilot and film director Tancred Ibsen on 25 August 1919. Their son Tancred Ibsen Jr., born in 1921, was a Norwegian diplomat. Career Lillebil Ibsen took ballet lessons at an early age with her mother, who was a professional choreographer and ballet instructor. She made her début as a dancer at Nationaltheatret in 1911, in the ballet pantomime ''Prinsessen på erten'', an adaptation of the story ''The Princess and the Pea'' by Hans Christian Andersen.
