Gwarek Zabrze
Szkolny Klub Sportowy Gwarek Zabrze is a Polish football club based in Zabrze, focusing on youth development. History The club was established on 12 June 1974, inspired by the successes of the local club Górnik Zabrze in the 1970s. With the work of several local famous players and coaches within the local schools it was decided that a youth system should be implemented serving as feeder to Górnik Zabrze. The club are three-time youth champions of Poland, in 2002, 2003 and 2006. Besides the youth development teams, the club has had a senior team playing in the amateur divisions. Zabrze (; German: 1915–1945: ''Hindenburg O.S.'', full form: ''Hindenburg in Oberschlesien'', Silesian: ''Zŏbrze'', yi, זאַבזשע, Zabzhe) is an industrial city in Silesia in southern Poland, near Katowice. The west district of the Silesian Metropolis, a metropolis with a population of around 2 million. It is in the Silesian Highlands, on the Bytomka River, a tributary of the Oder. Górnik Zabrze Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Górnik Zabrze S.A. or simply Górnik Zabrze (), is a Polish football club from Zabrze. Tomasz Wojciech Cywka (; born 27 June 1988) is a Polish former professional footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. Adam Mateusz Danch (born 15 December 1987) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for IV liga Silesia club AKS Mikołów. Career Gwarek Zabrze Danch started out at Gwarek Zabrze in the 2004–05 season and spent two seasons with the club. Gornik Zabrze On 1 July 2006, Danch moved to Gornik Zabrze for €20,000. Kamil Kosowski (; born 30 August 1977) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Kosowski started out playing for his home town club KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Przemysław Trytko (born 26 August 1987) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Club Trytko was born in Opole. After spending three years with Gwarek Zabrze, he joined German club FC Energie Cottbus in 2006 at the age of 19. Two years later, he joined Ekstraklasa side Arka Gdynia on a two-year loan.
