Guy Pujolle is a computer scientist working in the areas of computer networks and company founder . Guy Pujolle is a computer science professor at Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie during 1981-1993 and from 2000 to the present day, a member of the Royal Physiographic Society in Lund, Sweden, and a distinguished visiting professor at UFRJ (University Federal of Rio de Janeiro) from 2013. Before, he was a member of the Institut Universitaire de France from 2009 to 2014, a distinguished professor at the Division of IT Convergence Engineering of POSTECH, the Pohang University of Science and Technology, Korea, from 2011 to 2013. Deep Packet Inspection
Deep packet inspection (DPI) is a type of data processing that inspects in detail the data being sent over a computer network, and may take actions such as alerting, blocking, re-routing, or logging it accordingly. Deep packet inspection is often used to baseline application behavior, analyze network usage, troubleshoot network performance, ensure that data is in the correct format, check for malicious code, eavesdropping, and internet censorship, among other purposes.
