Guy Overton
Guy William Fitzroy Overton (8 June 1919 – 7 September 1993) was a New Zealand international cricketer who played three Test matches in 1953–54. In domestic cricket he represented Otago from 1945–46 to 1955–56. Early career A sheep farmer in Southland, R.T. Brittenden, ''New Zealand Cricketers'', A.H. & A.W. Reed, Wellington, 1961, pp. 126–28. Overton played a number of games for Southland in the 1940s as a right-arm opening bowler before making his first-class debut for Otago. In 1944–45 he took 8 for 24 and 3 for 10 in a drawn two-day match against Otago. In 1945–46, after taking 4 for 28 and 6 for 13 for Southland against Otago, and 4 for 12 and 2 for 13 against North Otago, he played for Otago against the touring Australians, taking 3 for 86 in the first innings, including Lindsay Hassett as his first first-class victim. Dunedin

Otago (, ; mi, Ōtākou ) is a region of New Zealand located in the southern half of the South Island administered by the Otago Regional Council. It has an area of approximately , making it the country's second largest local government region. Les Watt
Leslie Watt (17 September 1924 – 15 November 1996) was a New Zealand cricketer who played one Test for New Zealand, against England in March 1955. Cricket career In first-class cricket Watt played 48 matches between 1942-43 and 1962-63, making just over 2,000 runs at a batting average of 23.30. He often opened the batting for Otago with Bert Sutcliffe, whose first-class average was more than twice as high. Watt's highest first-class score was 96 against Auckland in 1950-51, when he and Sutcliffe (who made 275) batted throughout the first day to put on 373 for the first wicket. Later that season the pair put on 178 for the first wicket (Watt making 65) against Central Districts. Otago won the Plunket Shield, Sutcliffe scoring 610 runs and Watt 326 (at an average of 46.57, including a score of 94 against Wellington) in the four matches. It was his most productive season. Noel McGregor
Spencer Noel McGregor (18 December 1931 – 21 November 2007) was a Test cricketer who played 25 Test matches for New Zealand between 1954–55 and 1964–65. He was the New Zealand Cricket Almanack Player of the Year in 1968. Domestic career Noel McGregor was born in Dunedin and played for Otago. A batsman who liked to play his strokes, at 17 he hit the first ball he faced in the Plunket Shield for four, and two more boundaries in the same over from Tom Burtt. In 90 first-class matches for Otago between 1947–48 and 1968–69 he scored 4259 runs at an average of 27.65. In all first-class matches he made five centuries, the highest a fine unbeaten 114 to take Otago to a seven-wicket victory over Wellington in 1959–60. He was also an occasional wicketkeeper.
