Guy Livingston (British Army Officer)
Brigadier-General Guy Livingston, (17 July 1881 – 10 May 1950) was a British Army and Royal Air Force officer of the early 20th century. He was one of the small number of Royal Flying Corps generals in latter stages of the First World War, serving as the Chief Staff Officer at the RFC's Training Division and then as Director of Air Organisation. With the creation of the RAF on 1 April 1918, Livingston was appointed Deputy Master-General of Personnel at the Air Ministry. Lionel Charlton
Air Commodore Lionel Evelyn Oswald Charlton, (7 July 1879 – 18 April 1958) was a British infantry officer who served in the Second Boer War. During the First World War, Charlton held several command and staff posts in the Royal Flying Corps, finishing the war as a brigadier general. Transferring to the Royal Air Force on its creation, Charlton served in several air officer posts until his retirement from the air force in 1928. Most notably, Charlton resigned his position as the RAF's Chief Staff Officer in Iraq as he objected to the bombing of Iraqi villages. John Hearson
Air Commodore John Glanville Hearson, (5 August 1883 – 9 January 1964) was a squadron and wing commander and senior staff officer in the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War, and a senior commander in the fledgling Royal Air Force (RAF) during the 1920s. Military career Pearson was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Royal Engineers on 31 July 1902. He transferred to the Royal Air Force on its formation. He reached the rank of brigadier general in 1917, and became the RAF's first Director of Training on the service's formation in April 1918. Remaining in the RAF after the war, he was promoted to air commodore on 30 June 1923. In the first half of the 1920s he held senior positions on RAF Iraq Command, the British organisation responsible for maintaining control of Iraq.
