Guusje Ter Horst
Guus "Guusje" ter Horst (born 22 March 1952) is a retired Dutch politician of the Labour Party (PvdA) and psychologist. She is a member of the supervisory board of Royal Dutch Shell since 1 January 2013 and chairwoman of the supervisory board of the Institute for Sound and Vision since 11 July 2011. Biography Ter Horst attended school in The Hague and subsequently studied at University of Amsterdam where she obtained a MSc degree in psychology. In 1984 she received a PhD degree in social science on her thesis concerning the question how people who never go to the dentist can be made to do so. Between 1986 and 1994 she was associate professor of Social Dentistry at the subfaculty of Dentistry of the University of Amsterdam. In 1984 Ter Horst joined the Labour Party (PvdA). Barbara Augustine "Guusje" Woesthoff-Nederhorst (4 February 1969 – 29 January 2004) was a Dutch actress and singer. Life and career Nederhorst became known for playing Roos Alberts-de Jager in the soap ''Goede tijden, slechte tijden'' (GTST), a role she played from 1992 until 2000. With her GTST co-stars Babette van Veen and Katja Schuurman, she formed the girl group Linda, Roos & Jessica; the group performed under the names of their GTST characters. Nederhorst later appeared in the soap ''Onderweg naar morgen'', the drama series '' All Stars'', and the Curaçao-set telenovela ''Bon bini beach''. Nederhorst married lawyer Sander Dikhoff in 1998, but the marriage ended in divorce. In September 2003, she married Kane frontman Dinand Woesthoff Kane was a Dutch rock band. Guusje Steenhuis (born 27 October 1992) is a Dutch judoka. She won the bronze medal in the 78 kg event at the 2015 European Games in Baku. She is the four-time silver medalist of European Judo Championships in the 78 kg division. She competed in the women's 78 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She won the silver medal in the women's 78 kg event at the 2019 European Judo Championships which were held as part of the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus.
