Gut Check
"Gut Check" is the sixteenth episode of the eighth season of '' House'' and the 171st overall. It aired on April 9, 2012 on FOX. Plot House and the team take on the case of a 22-year-old minor league hockey player, Bobby "The Hatchet" Hatcher who collapsed while coughing up blood after a fight on the ice. Complications ensue, such as male breast development, and after several false diagnoses the patient is saved. Wilson finds out that he may have fathered a son 11 years ago in a broken relationship, but House neglected to tell Wilson at the time. Wilson contacts the ex-girlfriend and makes arrangements to meet his son. They get along well, and Wilson takes him to his apartment where the son fixes a fancy pizza with prosciutto and goat cheese. Wilson has a crisis when the son tells him that his mother wants to move to Costa Rica and that he would like to move in with Wilson instead. Miguel Sapochnik (born 1 July 1974) is an English film and television director of Argentine origin, and former storyboard artist. "Blowing the Whistle" is the fifteenth episode of the eighth season of ''House'' and the 170th overall. It aired on April 2, 2012, on FOX. Plot The episode begins with a US Army Captain ( Sharif Atkins) from the 1st Infantry Division. His brother (Arlen Escarpeta), who himself is army personnel, has been charged with treason. Foreman informs the team that the patient experienced a generalized tonic–clonic seizure. They find out that the soldier had exposed the details of a US Army blunder ("blown the whistle"). Adams believes that House is losing his observational skills, but the rest of the team believe that nothing is wrong at all. The team believe that he was faking to get out of military prison and gives a placebo to see if the man is faking symptoms, which he appears to be. "We Need the Eggs" is the seventeenth episode of the eighth season of ''House'' and the 172nd overall. It aired on April 16, 2012 on FOX. Plot A guy is out on a date with a woman who is not his girlfriend. She likes him and tells him she wants more. Then his eyes begin to bleed. House is interviewing new call girls since he is losing his regular, Emily. They are going to test the blood of the man from the opening, 35-year-old Henry. The woman Henry was with; in the start of the episode, Molly, asks if she should call his girlfriend. He makes several excuses. Henry's blood panel comes back normal. A guy who had been selling a guitar seems interested in Park. Based on the strange girlfriend stuff, Adams thinks Henry has a drug problem. House sends her to search his home.
