Gustavo Borner
Gustavo Borner is an Argentine producer, engineer and mixer. He has worked with several artists both from Argentina like Fito Páez, Andrés Calamaro and León Gieco as well as from other countries of Latin America like Juanes, Ricky Martin and Pepe Aguilar, among others, he has also worked in several film and videogame scores such as '' Birdman'', ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'' and ''Deadpool 2''. For his work, Borner has received six Grammy Awards, eleven Latin Grammy Awards and a Cinema Audio Society Award. Career After finishing high school in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1985, Borner went to Boston, United States to attend Berklee College of Music, graduating with a double major in Music Production and Engineering and Film Scoring. The Cinema Audio Society Awards are an annual awards ceremony given by the Cinema Audio Society that honor outstanding achievements in sound mixing. These awards have been presented by the Cinema Audio Society since 1994. The competition is open to feature films and television programs released or aired during the calendar year. La Renga is a hard rock Argentine band, formed in 1988. Los Auténticos Decadentes (Spanish for "The Authentic Decadents") is an Argentine band that mixes ska with Latin American rhythms. The band was formed around the year 1986 by Cucho and Nito, who invited Gastón to join them. Their first hit was ''Veni Raquel'', which set the tone for the irreverence and ironic humor of their later lyrics. Los Pericos is an Argentine band formed in 1987. The band has enjoyed international success, especially throughout South America. In 2006, the band received some notable exposure for North American audiences when featured on an episode of Anthony Bourdain's '' No Reservations''.
