Gustavo Abregú
Gustavo Ariel Abregú (born 4 July 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for San Martín. Career Abregú's career began with San Martín. He was selected in three fixtures during the 2016 Torneo Federal A, which ended with promotion to Primera B Nacional. Two campaigns later, San Martín were promoted to the Argentine Primera División; though Abregú had only featured once in the prior two seasons. Abregú made his bow in the Primera División against Gimnasia y Esgrima in September 2018. Personal life Abregú's brother, César, is also a footballer; he too played for San Martín. Tucumán Province
Tucumán () is the most densely populated, and the second-smallest by land area, of the provinces of Argentina. Located in the northwest of the country, the province has the capital of San Miguel de Tucumán, often shortened to Tucumán. Neighboring provinces are, clockwise from the north: Salta, Santiago del Estero and Catamarca. The 2018–19 Argentine Primera División – Superliga Argentina (officially the Superliga Quilmes Clásica for sponsorship reasons) was the 129 season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The season began on 10 August 2018 and ended on 7 April 2019. Boca Juniors were the defending champions. Twenty-six teams competed in the league, twenty-four returning from the 2017–18 season and two promoted from the 2017–18 Primera B Nacional ( Aldosivi and San Martín (T)). Twenty-five teams competed in the league, seventeen returning from the 2016–17 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format The league's format changed from the previous season. Twenty-five teams play each other once for a total of twenty-four matches each. The Champion earns promotion to the Primera División. The teams placed 2nd to 9th compete in the "Torneo Reducido" for the second promotion after the regular season ends. Torneo Federal A
The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area.
