Gustav Isaksen
Gustav Tang Isaksen (born 19 April 2001) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Italian Serie A club Lazio. Club career Growing up in Hjerk, Salling, Isaksen moved to the Midtjylland academy from Roslev IK at under-12-level, after having started playing football as a three-year-old. After he signed his first professional contract in May 2019 – a five-year deal – he made his debut on 25 August 2019 in the Danish Superliga when he came on as a substitute for Awer Mabil in the 78th minute of the 2–0 away win over SønderjyskE. He made his first ever start on 29 September in a 1–0 loss to OB in the domestic league. At the end of the season, Midtjylland won the Superliga title, with Isaksen recording 15 appearances. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city Odense. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish Superliga and their home field is Nature Energy Park. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. The 2019–20 FC Midtjylland season was FC Midtjylland's 21st season of existence, and their 19th consecutive season in the Superliga, the top tier of football in Denmark. Rasmus Carstensen (born 10 November 2000) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for German club 1. FC Köln on loan from Belgian Pro League club Genk. Club career Silkeborg Born in Virklund, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Silkeborg, Central Jutland, Carstensen initially played youth football at local club Virklund IF, before moving to the Silkeborg IF youth academy at age 13. Viborg Fodsports Forening ("Viborg Footsport Association"), or Viborg F.F. and VFF for short, is a Danish professional football club based in Viborg. The club was founded in 1896 and waited more than a century before winning its only national trophy, the 2000 Danish Cup. History Viborg FF was founded in 1896, with several other sports apart from football - among other things were gymnastics, cricket, field hockey, boxing, athletics, skiing, weight-lifting, and wrestling. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008.
