Guruprasad
Guruprasad is an Indian actor and director in the Kannada film industry. His debut as a director was the 2006 film ''Mata (2006 film), Mata'' which became a cult hit and his second movie as a director is ''Eddelu Manjunatha''. Both the films were received with rave reviews and were considered for many award categories. He is known for portraying satire in a realistic way on the screen. ''Eradane Sala'' (English: ''Second Time'') is a 2017 Kannada-language Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Guruprasad and produced by Yogesh Narayan. It stars Dhananjay and Sangeetha Bhat, in the leading roles, while Lakshmi plays an important supporting role. The soundtrack and score for the film was composed by Anoop Seelin. The film was created in January 2014 and was in development hell for many months. Finally, it was revived in 2016 and the first trailer was released in January 2017. ''Director's Special'' is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language satire film written and directed by Guruprasad. It stars a debutant Dhananjay along with Rangayana Raghu. Actress Pooja Gandhi made a special appearance in an item song. The storyline of the movie was also found in two more Kannada movies—''Dasavala'' and ''Karodpathi''.
