Gurbir Singh Grewal
Gurbir Singh Grewal (; born June 23, 1973) is an American attorney and prosecutor who served as the sixty-first attorney general of the State of New Jersey from January 2018 until his resignation in July 2021. Appointed by Governor of New Jersey Phil Murphy, he was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate on January 16, 2018. He is the first Sikh-American attorney general in United States history. Grewal was formerly the county prosecutor of Bergen County, New Jersey, originally appointed in 2016; he was also the first Sikh American to be named a county prosecutor in the United States. He is the second South Asian to be a state attorney general after California's Kamala Harris in 2011. It was announced Grewal would resign as attorney general to become director of the Enforcement Division at the Securities and Exchange Commission. The attorney general of New Jersey is a member of the executive cabinet of the state and oversees the Department of Law and Public Safety. The office is appointed by the governor of New Jersey, confirmed by the New Jersey Senate, and term limited. It is the only state where the attorney general is apppointed as opposed to elected. Mahwah is the northernmost and largest municipality by geographic area () in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Opioid

Paul J. Fishman (born February 26, 1957) is an American lawyer and former United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 2009 to 2017. Early life and education Fishman was born on February 26, 1957, in New York City to a Jewish family. He grew up in River Edge, Bergen County, New Jersey and attended River Dell Regional High School.
