Gurbaj Singh
Gurbaj Singh (born 9 August 1988) represented India in men's hockey during the 2012 London Olympics. He is a midfielder and plays in the right-half position. Gurbaj made his India debut in 2006 at the Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. He represented India at the 2010 World Cup in New Delhi, 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, and the 2012 London Olympics. Midfield is the part of a sports field that lies approximately in the center. Hockey At The 2014 Commonwealth Games
Field hockey is one of ten core sports at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. It was the fifth appearance of hockey at the Commonwealth Games since its inclusion in 1998. The competition took place between Thursday 24 July and Sunday 3 August at the purpose built National Hockey Centre on the city's famous Glasgow Green. The 2010 Men's Hockey World Cup was the 12th edition of Men's Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation.
