''Gunplay'' is a graphic novel, written by Jorge Vega (comics), Jorge Vega, with art by Dominic Vivona. It was published by Platinum Studios in 2008 in comics, 2008. The second incarnation of Touchstone Television (formerly known as Fox 21 Television Studios) was an American television production company that is a subsidiary of Disney Media Networks' Walt Disney Television owned by The Walt Disney Company. Weird West
Weird West (aka Weird Western) is a term used for the hybrid genres of fantasy Western, horror Western and science fiction Western. The term originated with DC's ''Weird Western Tales'' in 1972, but the idea is older as the genres have been blended since the 1930s, possibly earlier, in B-movie Westerns, comic books, movie serials and pulp magazines. Individually, the hybrid genres combine elements of the Western genre with those of fantasy, horror and science fiction respectively. ''Cowboys & Aliens'' is a 105-page graphic novel created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley, with art by Dennis Calero and Luciano Lima. It was released by American publisher Platinum Studios in 2006. Publication history Platinum Studios founder & chairman Rosenberg came up with the ''Cowboys & Aliens'' concept in 1997. ''Final Destination'' is an American horror franchise that includes five films, two comic books, and nine novels. It is based on an unproduced spec script by Jeffrey Reddick, originally written for ''The X-Files'' television series, and was distributed by New Line Cinema. Christopher James Priest (born James Christopher Owsley, June 30, 1961) is an American writer of comic books who is at times credited simply as Priest. He changed his name legally circa 1993. He was the first black writer-editor in mainstream comics. Comics writing Priest (as Jim Owsley) entered the comics industry as a Marvel Comics intern in 1978. He joined Marvel's editorial staff in 1979, working for Paul Laikin, Paul Laiken as a managing editor on ''Crazy Magazine'' and becoming the first African American editor in mainstream comics. He next became assistant editor for Larry Hama on the ''Conan (Marvel Comics), Conan'' titles. Owsley made his professional debut as a writer in 1983 with issue No. 1 of ''Falcon (comics), The Falcon'' miniseries and was made full editor of the ''Spider-Man'' comic books from 1985 to 1986. Buffalo Soldier
Buffalo Soldiers originally were members of the 10th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army, formed on September 21, 1866, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This nickname was given to the Black Cavalry by Native American tribes who fought in the Indian Wars.
