Gunnar Ólafsson
Gunnar Ólafsson (born 9 June 1993) is an Icelandic basketball player for Fryshuset Basket in the Swedish Basketball League and the Icelandic men's national basketball team. Playing career After starting his career with Fjölnir, Gunnar moved to Keflavík in 2013. In September 2013, he helped Keflavík win the Icelandic Company Cup, defeating KR in the Cup finals. In January 2014, he was selected to the Icelandic All-Star game. In 2014, he joined St. Francis College and played there for four years. He returned to Keflavík in 2018 and averaged 14.1 points and 3.9 rebounds during the 2018–19 Úrvalsdeild karla season. After the season, he terminated his contract with Keflavík, siting his desire to play overseas. On 9 August 2019, Gunnar signed with LEB Oro club Oviedo CB. Three months later, he was waived by the club after appearing in 8 games, including 3 starts, where he averaged 3.0 points per game. Swedish Basketball League
Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL). Falur Harðarson
Falur Jóhann Harðarson (born 15 October 1968) is an Icelandic basketball coach and a former player. He spent most of his career with Keflavík where he won five national championships, the last one as a player-coach, and 3 national cups. A five time Úrvalsdeild Domestic All-First Team selection, he was named the Úrvalsdeild Domestic Player of the Year in 1999. Falur started his coaching career with Keflavík women's team and led them to the national championship in 1990. Playing career Club career Falur spent most of his career with Úrvalsdeild club Keflavík. He also played one and a half season with Reykjavík powerhouse KR and split the 1999–2000 season with Korisliiga clubs Torpan Pojat and Espoon Honka. ''Morgunblaðið'' (, ''The Morning Paper'') is an Icelandic newspaper. ''Morgunblaðið''s website, mbl.is, is the most popular website in Iceland.
