Gunnar Vatten
Gunnar Vatten (9 August 1927 – 20 July 2011) was a Norwegian engineer and civil servant. He was born in Bodø, and took the siv.ing. degree in electrical engineering in Denmark. He was employed in the Norwegian Water Resources and Electricity Agency from 1953 to 1955, and then worked as a consultant in Nordland County Municipality before working for the Western Electric Company in Oklahoma. He returned to Norway and was the director of electricity in the agency from 1971 to 1978. He was then a deputy under-secretary of state in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from 1978 to 1985. When Statkraft was split from the Water Resources and Electricity Agency in 1986, Vatten became the chief executive officer. Bodø (town)
Bodø (; smj, Bådåddjo) is a town in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of Bodø Municipality and of Nordland county. It is located on the Bodø peninsula between the Vestfjorden and the Saltfjorden. Bodø is located just north of the Arctic Circle. It is the largest urban area and town in Nordland county and it is the second-largest town in Northern Norway. The town has a population (2018) of 41,215 and a population density of . Nesodden Municipality
Nesodden is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality is Nesoddtangen. The parish of ''Næsodden'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The new municipality of Oppegård was separated from Nesodden on 1 July 1915. The first element is ''nes'' which means "headland" and the last element is (the definite form of) ''odde'' which means "point". Lars Uno Thulin
Lars Uno Thulin (25 March 1939 – 14 March 2002) was a Norwegian engineer, civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Uddevalla, Sweden, but grew up in Fredrikstad. He studied at the Norwegian Institute of Technology where he took a siv.ing. degree. He later took a doctorate in thermodynamics. From 1975 to 1976 he was a part of Bratteli's Second Cabinet as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Church and Education. From 1976 to 1977 in Nordli's Cabinet he was a State Secretary in the Ministry of Industry. From 1977 to 1989 he worked in the bank Den norske Creditbank, from 1981 to 1989 as vice chief executive. He served as the permanent under-secretary of state in the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the highest-ranking bureaucratic position, from 1989 to 1992.
